Guru Pathwant has threatened to attack in India several times in the past as well. Last week too, Pannu described himself as the representative of the Kashmir-Khalistan Referendum Front. He also supported the recent attack on Indian soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. He stated that this attack was the result of India's violence against Kashmiris. Describing Kashmir as a disputed region, Gurupatwant Singh Pannu said that the only solution is a referendum.
